the house of skulls
skull of orang utan...
After trip to Padas, all the kids went back to KL, leaving me and hubby. I just feel we should extend the holidays to 2 more days; for relaxing and a bit of shopping .

After browsing through some pamphlet at the hotel, we decided to go to the Monsopiad Cultural Village, tgk tengkorak! (seriously). We took cab from the hotel (quite expensive tapi takde cara lain) and spend the whole day there. The village actually portrays the daily-life of the Kadazan Dusun people, the biggest ethnic entity in Sabah.

So there were stuff like bobohizan (ingat tak dulu belajar kat sekolah in history class? ), kadazan warriors, headhunters and keeper of skulls. (zaman dulu they all hunt head for spirit worship rasanya...).

Btw, I'm not sure why I was brave enough that day to join their traditional dance. In the holiday mood I suppose! But surely, no regrets
