Fazilla & Shafiq Wedding

Faz & Shafiq (our high schoolmate) had their wedding reception at the bride house on 1st July 06. The bride as usual was sweet & drop dead beautiful. Tahniah buat pasangan yg sama cantik sama padan nie. Secocok bangat!!! 
Semoga dipanjangkan umur dan bahagia selama lamanya.....

My neighbours' wedding

Sorry it has been a long long time since this fotopages being updated. I was super-busy did not even have time to surfing the net! Anyway now that I can breathe again, these are some pictures of my next door neighbours wedding at RISDA. Farha and her brother Iwan had the reception together. We were very close back then, both of them and my sister and me went to school together during our primary days.
It was our first time being at RISDA after our own wedding last year, so it feels quite good 
Congratulations to Farha and her hubby & Iwan and her wife!!! May they live happily ever after!

MyTeam proves they can do it!

We are one of the MyTeam followers, following every episode aired on TV3 (at first I fought the remote with hubby for Desperate Housewives but later gave in). We are determined to go and watch the match at the stadium as this could be the only football match we went together as a couple (since we never support the same team historically). I am excited to watch and support both teams, as I never see Malaysian play live before.
However, 2-3 days before the match, FAM top management started being condescending towards MyTeam. This actually came as a surprise as I thought the match supposed to be just a friendly match and the agreement was signed long time ago. And the consequences came on the match day itself:- 50,000 supporters crowded the stadium an from my observation only around 1% of those support the U-20 Malaysia team. Rasa macam kesian dkt player U-20 coz diorang pun muda lagik, lepas tu kena boo pulak. But that happened when your boss 'cakap besar' I guess.
Overall, the game was great. MyTeam membuktikan dengan berbekalkan semangat, diorang boleh memberi saingan yang hebat. They played with 200% determination until the final seconds of the match. Bravo. RM10 totally worth it:)

Honeymoon @ Melaka

We went to Malacca for our first wedding anniversary last May. Setelah hubby research for 1-2 weeks, kitorang decide nak pergi melaka sebab dekat je dgn KL (petrol saving), kaya dgn sejarah & budaya dan makanannya sedap! hehe 
Memang pilihan yg tepat. Kitorang pergi jalan2 hampir semua tempat tourist attraction. Both of us love history, so it's really fun to discuss on the subject during our visit. We went through Portugal, Netherland, British, Japan and communist period like flipping the old text book  . And the fact that both of us enjoying it is like we are destined to be together! This makes me excited to go some other historic place in the future with hubby (Rome will be great!). InsyaAllah.
Shopping and food were great, too. Jonker Street is interesting; I am amazed to see all kind of 'terompah' there. Portuguese village is fascinating; it's like entering into another country. Plus the seafood there was good! Another good food was Medan Ikan Bakar Pernu Umbai. You can choose your own fresh seafood and whatever cooking style you want. Puas hati betul, and definitely akan singgah lagi!
Other than that, we managed to relax. Woke up late, watched the F.A Cup final at Jalan Hang Tuah (where Reds gave outstanding performance), swam by the pool and relaxed in the hotel suite . What a great holiday!

Fiera's wedding reception ~ 6th May 06

Our high schoolmate, Fiera got married last week - May 5th, coincidentally sama dgn our wedding anniversary . I am very closed to Fiera and we had shared a lot of ups and down together. So to attend the wedding is a must, our own anniversary can be celebrated later .
The reception was held on the 6th at Pulapol, Jln Semarak. We arrived late, but fortunately the VVIP was also late so we did not miss out "upacara berarak masuk & bersanding". Penganting berarak masuk sewaktu hujan renyai renyai turun. Fiera looked very pretty! Pelamin cantik dan simple, dihiasi fresh flowers.There were alltogether one thousands roses, so you can imagine how romantic was it.
Majlis berlangsung penuh istiadat kerana melibatkan orang2 kenamaan, so tak boley laa nak lepak lama sgt. Plus my niece dah mula pening2 terkena hujan. (fiera invited our sister coz she's her regular customer. Fyi, the bride make the best "kek batik" I've ever taste!). Anyway, we all went and visit her at home afterwards. Everything went out great.
Congratulations to fiera & hubby. Looking at both of you, it is so true that you are really made for each other....

Badger BBQ Day

After keep on postponing, madisonians finally had a potluck BBQ @ mudin and nini's house. The cloudy weather did not stop us. Well, dulu time freezing pun boley bbq kan .
Around 6pm, a few of us mula membakar ayam dan mereka yg lain mula berborak . There was plenty of food!!!! Ada ayam, ikan, kerang, cheese cake (thanks nany), meehoon goreng, and all other kind of deserts! Perut penuh sampai dah tak boley isi rasanya...
Thank you so much to the lovely host (including nini's parents). Nanti kita buat lagik kay!!! Rumah saper pulak lepas nie?
P/S:congrats to Bear & Sal yg dpt baby 2 hari selepas bbq. Nasib baik tak beranak dkt putra heights..huhu..

DISNEY ON ICE

We went for Disney On Ice at Stadium Putra Bkt Jalil (which is just in front of our house!) with our sisters, nieces and nephew.
Masa kecik2 dulu, makcik kitorang pernah bawak pergi tengok disney on ice. Mmg best giler sampai sekarang dah tua pun boleh ingat..hehe..So sekarang nie gilirang kitorang pulak lah jadik makcik/pakcik.
The show is great, very worth it for RM50. Tapi kalau bayar sampai RM200 (dpt duduk depan skalik) tu macam tak worth it.

Mahfuz & Madiha wedding

Last month, we went back hometown to attend our best friend's wedding, Mahfuz a.k.a matput at Gerik, Perak.
On the way to his house, we stopped by at another wedding - son to our pengerusi PIBG from high school. He is really nice to both of us, and attended our wedding at both KL and Perak. Anyway, coincidentally we met a lot of our teachers at the wedding. So sembang punya sembang sampai pukul 2 baru laa pergi rumah matput. hehe...
Sampai rumah matput, sembang dgn member plak..biasala, reunion kecil kecilan. Anyway, thanks a lot to the bride & groom and the family for their kindness. Lauk mmg sedap sampai rizq mtk lauk kerabu perut extra. Enjoy the beautiful and great journey

My close friend in high school, ebby & her boyfriend cum our senior had their wedding reception early this month. I think this is the one and only senior and our batch couple from high school
The food was delicious and different (no normal ayam masak merah, dalca, etc). Instead it has lamb, prawn, fish among other things...anyway, we did not hang around very long coz some of our friends busy jadik 'gadis bunga telur'. Nanti lepak lelama ganggu pulak kerja diorang kan

~Suhaini & Shahrul Wedding~

Last month we received Suenini's (snr madison) invitation for her wedding reception with Shahrul - her college sweetheart. (they all nie pantang cuti selalu laa ulang alik madison-st louis) 
We arrived sharp at 12.00pm, and started eating while waiting for other madisonians. The food was super-delicious. Siap pekena teh tarik lagik tu
The bride & groom arrived at 2pm wearing pink, very sweet! They looked very happy, and satu benda yg obvious, cara pasangan pengantin nie senyum sebijik sama la..tak caya tgk gamba..hehe...
Thanks to sue & family, semoga berbahagia selamanya!
